So, when I did know about Minecraft it was 1.4.5 and when I did buy mc it was 1.4.7, so about the end of December 2012
It must have been somewhere around 1.6.2 when I started to watch modded series, then played cracked and finally bought the game in May 2019.
played free classic edition on some internet explorer website, like it so much bought the real thing around august 2013, 1.6 was just released and i think 1.7 was in the snapshots

Got pocket edition pretty much when it came out, and java in 1.6.4

was old. older than the hills. and i stopped playing. i came back around 1.12ish. got back into it more when stoneblock came out and bounced back and forth between modded and vanilla being the best versions.
Got pocket edition when it came out (the super early cringey one), moved to Java right when 1.8 was released.
I started on 1.5.2 Cracked. I don’t know if it was freshly released but when I bought Minecraft 1.8 Freshly came out. And 1.5.2 was my first Modded Version. I played a Magic Themed Modpack. Funny because now I like Tech way more

I don’t know for certain, but I remember the horse update, so it must have been around 1.5 or 1.6. I didn’t play the game much or very attentively back then though.
Am I the only one who felt like 1.7 was when Minecraft started to get some serious attention, and 1.9 is when everything went crazy, and 1.13 is when everything got crazier, and 1.17 is when things get even more crazy crazy?
